2. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of information:

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

• Name and email address when you create an account or complete the assessment
• Motherhood stage selection (TTC, Pregnancy, or Postpartum)
• Health and wellness information you voluntarily enter (mood, sleep, symptoms, measurements)
• Payment information processed securely through Stripe — we do not store card details
• Messages and content posted in community groups
• Responses to assessments and questionnaires
• Communications with our support team

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

• Device type, browser, and operating system
• IP address and approximate location
• Pages visited, features used, and time spent on the Platform
• Push notification preferences and interaction data
• Cookies and similar tracking technologies

2.3 Information from Third Parties

• If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google
• Payment status and transaction confirmation from Stripe
• Email engagement data from Omnisend and Resend

4. Sensitive Health Information

Catalyst Mom is a wellness platform. Some information you share with us — such as postpartum symptoms, cycle data, pregnancy details, and physical measurements — is sensitive in nature.

We do not sell health-related information or disclose it to advertising networks for targeted advertising. We use it to provide the features you request, personalise your experience, maintain safety and security, and meet legal obligations. If you allow analytics, an analytics provider may receive limited information about feature usage; we do not intentionally send it the contents of assessments, symptoms, laboratory values, private messages, or uploaded documents.

If you choose to upload a document — such as bloodwork or lab results — the document is sent to an AI processing service solely to extract the requested values. Catalyst Mom does not intentionally use that document to train its own AI models. Do not upload information about another person unless you have authority to do so.

AI-generated recommendations are produced from patterns in the information you provide. They can be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your circumstances and are not diagnoses, emergency services, or instructions to begin, stop, or change medical treatment. Review recommendations critically and consult a qualified healthcare professional about symptoms, pregnancy concerns, medications, test results, or treatment decisions.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

5.1 Service Providers

We use service providers for infrastructure, payments, communications, analytics, security, scheduling, notifications, and optional AI-assisted features. Naming them is a transparency measure, not an endorsement. A provider receives only the information needed for the relevant function.

• Supabase and Vercel — hosting, database, authentication, server functions, delivery, and operational logs
• Stripe and PayPal — payment processing, transaction confirmation, fraud prevention, and billing support
• Omnisend and Resend — newsletters, transactional email, delivery status, and suppression management
• Firebase — push notification delivery to devices that grant permission
• PostHog and Microsoft Clarity — optional product analytics and experience improvement after consent
• Pinterest — optional campaign and conversion measurement after marketing consent
• Google, OpenAI, Groq, Lovable AI Gateway, ElevenLabs, and Bland AI — optional AI, voice, transcription, and automated communication features when requested
• Google, Cloudflare, and hCaptcha — sign-in, bot detection, and platform security
• Calendly — appointment scheduling when you choose to book

These providers process information under their own privacy terms and, where applicable, service agreements with us. The provider used can depend on the feature, availability, and payment method you choose.

5.2 Community Content

Content you post in community groups is visible to other members of that group. Please do not share sensitive personal information in public community spaces.

5.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We use essential browser storage to operate accounts and requested features. Analytics and marketing technologies remain disabled until you allow them through Cookie Settings. We use them to:

• Analyse how the Platform is used
• Improve performance and user experience

You can accept, reject, or change optional categories at any time through Cookie Settings and our Cookie Policy. Disabling essential storage may affect account, security, or checkout features.

7. Push Notifications

If you install the Catalyst Mom app on your device and grant permission, we may send you push notifications including workout reminders, program updates, community alerts, and wellness check-ins.

You can turn off push notifications at any time through your device settings or within the app.

8. Data Retention

Account and wellness information is kept while your account is active and for the time reasonably needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and meet legal obligations. Payment processors retain transaction records under their own legal and operational requirements. Marketing information is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to a minimal suppression record that prevents further messages.

When you request account deletion, we will begin deleting or anonymising associated information unless it must be retained by law or is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims. Backups and provider logs may take additional time to cycle out. Anonymous or aggregated information that can no longer reasonably identify you may be retained for analysis.

9. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously. We implement industry-standard measures including:

• Encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS)
• Secure authentication and role-based access controls
• Access controls limiting who can view your data
• Regular security reviews

No system is 100% secure. While we work hard to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. If you believe your account has been compromised, please contact us immediately.

Catalyst Mom is designed for adult women navigating motherhood. Our Platform is not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we become aware that a child under 18 has provided us with personal information, we will delete it immediately.

12. International Users

Our providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Privacy protections may differ from those in your country. Where applicable, transfers are supported by recognized legal mechanisms used by our providers, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Depending on the activity and applicable law, we rely on performance of our contract, your consent, compliance with legal obligations, or legitimate interests such as security and service improvement. California residents may request information about collection and disclosure and exercise applicable rights by contacting us. Catalyst Mom does not sell personal information. Optional advertising measurement can be rejected through Cookie Settings.
